Charging subscribers for email newsletter

I have a client who is setting up a site that offers several email newsletters depending on your interests. He is looking to charge for those newsletters as a monthly subscription fee. The pricing he is proposing is below (there are 8 total topics of interest for his email newsletters):

$1.99 for the initial category
$ .99 each additional category
$4.25 unlimited choice option

I found in MailChimp that you can charge for a subscription. But it is just a one flat fee type of deal that won't work with the variables above.

Any ideas on another mailing list provider that allows for paid subscriptions that has a bit more robust pricing options? Any help would be greatly appreciates.
