Bush hog maintenance Anyone ?
Hello i have a old bushhog that doesnt have any viewable brand name or model #. I want to maintain the thing and have greased the grease fittings with the drive shaft that hooks to the tractor. The bushhog has a gearbox in the center on the top side of the bushhog. The gearbox (?) has a foursided plug that you can use a wrench to unscrew. When i unscrew it i can dip my finger into it and the oil in there is a muddy color oil and it has a different smell than normal oil. It basically looks very old.
