Exposed to blood at work; possible to file legal or OSHA claim?
A few months ago at work (retail) a woman fell down the escalator and split her head open. I was not a responder, but I was nearby below the escalator. While the stores trained loss prevention team was there calling the proper emergency services, the store manager personally handed me, an untrained cashier, a blood-covered quilt and told me to go put it in his office. Now I'm pretty upset with the company as a whole, and was wondering if it was possible to file a civil lawsuit or an OSHA greivance, anything that will cost the store money. To my knowledge, I did not catch anything, but no safety equipment or medical evaluation was offered. I'm in Massachusetts
