How to make an outdoor water fountain?

I want to make a outdoor water fountain. Now here is the twist my grandmother has a sink and it is very precious to me. She bathed like 12 grand kids and great grand kids. I want to make it where it won't rust due to constant water fall and weather conditions. I want for water to actually come out of the faucet and overfill the sink and cascade down the stones it will be placed on. and eventually make its way back up to the faucet. It will go in the center of my garden as a remembrance of how wonderful she was. Any suggestions.

My friend and I are making a model of a park for school, and we want to make a pond with a fountain in the middle. How do you suggest we do this? Also, we're considering putting goldfish crackers in the pond to resemble fish, will this work?
