New User - Power Pack Importing Multiple Pages

I have about 100 articles in .txt files and I was wondering if it was possible to import them and quickly create multiple pages using the Power Pack importing feature? I keep getting just .txt files when I preview them after creation. Do you have to convert these individual .txt files to .html pages before you can import them?

Can anyone help with using .txt files in a batch import page create way?

P.S. - Google must like XSP sites - I got second position on page two for my main keyword in just under a week! Yay!
