How would I go by getting into Rally Driving?

Hey, well I am 18 living at my GF's in Sydney, AUS and I've wanted o get into rally for the past 5-6 years, I know I will have to gt a car and my P's 1st. An I'm wondering how would I get into the sport and where are rallies held around sydney or sounding aira. And is there any thing else I would need to know before I can start/getting into rally.
Please help me with this as I don't really know how to start?
