Would I like it and how much would it cost?

Until I read a post wherein a guy was saying how much he really liked his $600 720p projector, I did not know that they were that inexpensive and that they might be really good. Other than reading that one posting, I know nothing about projectors (as I have been a plasma guy).

So it started me wondering about what if I were add a projector (not necessarily that one above) to my living room. Would I like it better than my 58" plasma and how much would I have to spend to get something that would rival or exceed a plasma?
I already have the receiver, speakers, PS3, cables.

What would I need - a projector, a mount, a screen? anything else? Lenses?
